This is the Japanese manga supposedly produced/written/illustrated/somethinged by Yoshio Sakamoto in 2003. (Yoshio Sakamoto worked on many Metroid titles as a director, scenario designer, or script writer) The first two untranslated chapters are still available as an e-manga: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Translations of chapters 1 and 2 can be found at Mechadrake's site. This manga follows the story of Samus from her childhood up to the final battle of Metroid Zero Mission. Remember, Japanese manga is read from the right to the left!
